Police called to Kim Foxx’s Flossmoor home for domestic incident, report shows

A police report obtained by CWBChicago and other media through a request from the Freedom of Information Act shows that the police responded to the home of the Cook Kim Foxx County prosecutor in Flossmoor last weekend.

Foxx and her husband ask for intimacy and call last weekend’s incident a “personal family matter”.

Foxx’s husband, Kelley Foxx, was by her side during various public appearances, but it was a different scene last Saturday evening.

According to the police report, Kelley Foxx composed 911 to report a domestic incident with his wife, telling the agents, who replied that she was angry with him about something that had been published on Facebook that he did.

Kelley told the police when he refused his wife’s request to leave the house, the confrontation intensified. He said Kim prevented him from leaving a bathroom, caught his collar and slapped it later.

The report indicates that Kim corroborated part of her husband’s story but denied the slap, telling an officer she had put it on her hands but only to guide him out of the house.

Kim told an officer whom she thought that her husband had called the police just to hurt her.

The report indicates that the agents have found no reason to make arrests.

The couple published a statement Friday evening: “This is a personal family affair, and we ask you to provide our family with respect and privacy.”

The couple told the police that they had been together for more than 20 years, and according to the police report, this is the first time that Flossmoor police have responded to a domestic call to the home.
