Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander was arrested Thursday at the Ventura County home the pop star shares with fiancé Sam Asghari.

Alexander, married to Spears for 55 hours after a wedding in Las Vegas in 2004 before the cancellation of the marriage, was continued and held by security after he arrived at the residence, said the Sheriff’s spokesman for Ventura.

The Sheriff’s department was called to the Spears residence in Thousand Oaks around 2 p.m. About an intruder, said the spokesperson.

Alexander, 40, was initially arrested for suspected crime mandate in the county of Napa in 2016, the official said. He was then arrested for suspicion of offense, vandalism, and intrusion into the county of Ventura.

The spokesman said an emergency prescription was made on Thursday evening, forcing him to stay away from Spears.

NAPA’s mandate concerned the big flight and the purchase or reception of stolen goods, said Napa County, Sheriff Henry Wofford. Alexander was detained in the county of Ventura. Wofford said the deposit was $ 20,000 due to the pending mandate.

TMZ first announced the news. A Spears lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, said he was “livid” on “intrusion” and thanked the law enforcement agents for their quick work.

“Britney is safe,” he said.

A lawyer for Alexander did not immediately respond to a request for comments. Spears and Asghari announced their commitment in September.

Spears, 40, was released from his supervision in November after a judge ruled in favor of termination, ending the 13 -year arrangement, which had legally deprived her of making his own personal and financial decisions.

In 2020, Alexander appeared during a #Freebritney demonstration in Los Angeles during his conservation battle. “I am here to show his support for the #Freebritney and Britney movement,” he said in the magazine at the time. “It is an unfortunate situation that has been in her life for a long time. It affected her and me, and it is part of me.”
