5 injured in shooting near Big Four Bridge in Kentucky
EDITOR’S NOTE: This story was updated after the police initially said there was a fatality but later corrected themselves and said no one died from the shooting.
Five teenagers were injured after being killed on Saturday near Big Four Bridge in Louisville, Kentucky, said the Louisville metro police department.
Major de LMPD, Brian Kuriger, said at a press conference on Saturday that the police had received a call around 9:05 p.m.
The police arrived on the scene to find three teenagers with injuries by injuries. Balle that were transported to the university hospital with at least one of the people in critical condition suffering from fatal injuries.
Later, two teenagers arrived at the hospital to be treated in their car with injuries not putting their lives in danger.
Kuriger noted that the incident had taken place in a “family zone” but that “minors” without supervision “people in recent times.
The victims were men and women, but their age was not yet available. Police do not yet have a suspect, and the Homicide Unit of the LMPD manages the investigation.
